This one- or two-day course shows how traditional structures of participation (e.g,. presentations, town halls, & brainstorming) fall short in their attempt to meaningfully engage stakeholders. Instead, Liberating Structures create the environment for true engagement to emerge dramatically changing the participants' experience and the session's outcomes. Participants will experience a number of Liberating Structures and have the knowledge and confidence to incorporate them into their practice.
This online 4-hour course reviews the philosophies and values of the ToP Methods and basic facilitation skills. Attendees will participate in a virtual ToP Focused Conversation showcasing how virtual tools empower online engagement. Then they will collaboratively design and facilitate Focused Conversations using these virtual tools.
This course is the BEST way to expand skills learned in an in-person TFM to a virtual environment or to simply review and practice the skills from the online TFM.
This one- or two-day course helps people understand the historical aspects of process and continuous improvement, how to create a variety of process maps to better understand and pinpoint improvement opportunities, how to measure the impacts of improvement efforts, and how the human-centered side of change can influence the effectiveness of improvement efforts.
Change is both a technical and human-centered process. In this course we'll look briefly at the technical aspects of change before diving more deeply into the human side of change using Prosci's ADKAR model as a guide. We'll explore the different aspects of resistance and how, as leaders, we can help those we lead overcome the barriers that give rise to resistance.
If desired, we can add process mapping and continuous improvement, as well as the basics of LEAN and Six Sigma to the experience.
This one, two, or three-day course helps aspiring and current leaders understand what it means to adopt a facilitative approach to leadership and how it augments other leadership styles.
